About Me

I first started playing basketball in the second grade but didn't become serious about it until the summer of 2018, when I was going into eighth grade. I became obsessed with hard work and striving to be the best I can. However, I was simultaneously playing highly competitive AAU baseball during the spring, summer, and fall as well as AAU soccer in the winter, spring, and fall. I have always been a fierce competitor but realized that if I wanted to be the best, something had to go. I decided to give up baseball to focus more on basketball. I have grown much as a player in the past two years. I am an extremely competitive, motivated, and tenacious player who is a vocal leader both on and off the court and uses my athletic ability to my advantage. I can play the PG and SG positions. I can set screens to get a teammate open for a shot, as well as make shots coming off a screen. I can drive and kick and have room to grow in my post game as well as creating shots against bigger defenders off of a switch. I do not hesitate to dive on the floor for a loose ball, battle for a rebound, or set hard screens on physically bigger and stronger players. I love the challenge of guarding a player that is far older, more experienced, taller, or stronger than me. My goal in everything that I do is to be the absolute best I can and I will compete with anyone to be the best.
